I read the book prince cinders. In prince cinders some differences are that prince cinders is a boy. He has 3 brothers that are mean. Another difference is that he loses his pants instead of his shoe. Some similarities are that he ends up with the princess in the end. Also the princess goes around and sees who's pants they are. Lastly theres a fairy who comes when his brother went to the ball.

    1. You talked a lot about Prince Cinders, but how did he compare to Cendrillon? You left that important part out.

  5. Dear Classroom,

I will compare Prince Cinders to Cendrillon. Prince Cinders is a boy and Cendrillon is a girl. When the fairy godmother comes she turns Prince Cinders into a big hairy monkey waring a swimsuit. In Cendrillon her godmtherturns her into a beautiful dress and pearl necklaces. In both stories they both lose something and the prince or princess wants every boy or girl try on the shoe or trousers. When Cendrillon tries on the shoe it fits and they marry when Prince Cinders tries on the trousers they fit and he marries with the princess.

    Dear Class,
Do you want to know about another Cinderella story? I am doing Cindy Ellen compared to Cendrillon. One thing that is similar is they both get married. Second they both lose something. My differences are Cindy Ellen is a cowgirl. Second Cendrillon went to a ball. And there are my differences and similar things about Cendrillon and Cindy Ellen.

    1. You have good similarities. I'm wondering what the differences are. If Cindy Ellen was a cowgirl, how was that different from what Cendrillon was? And if Cendrillon went to a ball, how was that different from where Cindy Ellen went? Make sure to give specific facts so we know what your thoughts are. :)

  8. Dear Miss Shaw's Class,

I am comparing the normal Cinderella to Cerdrillon. One thing they had in common is they both had bossy stepmothers. They put them to work and were mean to them every day. In Cinderella, she had glass slippers and a pink dress. Cendrillon had pink slippers and a blue dress. They both ended up marrying special people they met at a very fancy ball. I liked both stories because they lived happily every after.

  9. Dear Miss Shaw,
The two Cinderella stories I'm going to compare are Cinderella and Cendrillon. Two similarities are Cendrillon and Cinderella both had godmothers that gave them better clothes to go to the ball. Another similarity is they both lost a slipper at the ball. One difference is that in Cinderella, the godmother made Cinderella a pumpkin carriage. A second difference is that Cinderella has a glass slipper and Cendrillon has an embroidered slipper. Those are some of my differences and similarities.

  11. Dear Miss Shaw,

I am comparing the story "Cinderella" to "Cindrillon". They are the same in some ways. These are the ways: In "Cinderella" she has a mean stepmother and she marries a prince after she meets him at a royal ball. The same things happen in Cendrillon. Here are some ways the stories are different: In "Cindrillon" the story takes place in Martinique while "Cinderella" does not take place on a tropical island like Martinique. Another difference is that in "Cinderella" she has two stepsisters that are very mean. In "Cindrillon" she only has one mean step sister. Those are some ways that "Cindrella" is the same as and diffrent from "Cendrillon".

    Sincerely

    Jack

  13. Dear Class,

In the two stories a princess marries a hansome prince, they are both beautiful and they use magic to make a nice dress to go to the ball. The differences were that one princess had pink rose slippers and the other had glass slippers. Also, one princess had one step sister and the other had two step sisters. Those were my three things to compare both princesses.

  14. Dear Ms. Shaw,

I am comparing the story "Cinderella" to "Cendrillion." They are the same in many ways. One way they are the same is that they both have princesses that go to a ball. They also find a prince that they fall in love with. They are also different in many ways. One way they are different is that in "Cinderella" you don't really meet the birth mom of Cinderella. In "Cendrillion," you actually meet the birth mom and the birth dad. Another difference is that "Cendrillion" takes place on an tropical island called Martinigue. However, "Cinderella" takes place in a kingdom. Those are some differences and similarities between the story "Cinderella" and "Cendrillion."

    Sincerely,
    Lucie

  16. Dear Classmates,

I am comparing The Rough Face Girl to Cendrillon. Two similarities are they both get made fun of by their stepparents and sister or sisters. They also have a type of prince or handsome boy in the story. My two differences are Cendrillon is a Caribbean Cinderella and The Rough Face Girl is a Native American Cinderella. Also in the Rough Face Girl everybody makes fun of the girl because she has bumps, bruises and scars on her face. In Cendrillon the stepsister make fun of her because she is a washer Women. Those are some similarities and differences of The Rough Face Girl and Cendrillon.

    Sincerely,
    Lucia

  17. Dear Ms. Shaw,
I compared Cendrillon to the Korean version of Cinderella. One similarity is they both lose an article of clothing. Another similarity is they both have to leave by mid night. A difference is that Cendrillon takes place on the island of Martinique and the Korean version takes place in Korea. Another difference is that the Korean Cinderella loses her necklace and Cendrillon loses her shoe. Those are some similarities and differences from the Korean version and Cendrillon.

  18. I am comparing the original version of Cinderella to Cendrillon. The first difference between the two stories was that each story is set in a different country. The second difference was that Cinderella was white and Cendrillon was black. One similarity between the versions was that they both had a fairy godmother. Another similarity was that both became princesses. In comparing Cinderella to Cendrillon, there are both differences and similarities between the two stories.

My comparison is between Cendrillon to Prince Cinders. First, a similarity is that both stories had godmothers. Another similarity is that both characters go to the ball. A difference is that that Prince Cinders turns big and hairy and Cendrillon is small and pretty. Another difference is that the main characters are different genders. One is a boy and one is a girl. I liked both stories because it was fun to read different versions.

  20. dear class,
To compare and to contrast Cinderella and Cendrillon, both girls in each fairy tale started each story as a poor person and as the stories moved along, they each became princess's. Each girl lost a shoe and the handsome prince seached until they the matching foot. One difference is that a fairy godmother came to Cinderellas aid and Cindrillon's grandmother helped her. Another is that Cindrillon rode in a actual carrige, while Cinderella moved in huge rolling punpkin.
